We are almost finished with the roofing!
Last weekend Rachel finished the metal trim in the back, low section.

Our peach tree gave us some yummy peaches to eat! We can't believe that the tree lived, let alone give us fruit!
Yesterday we had another big work day. The whole house is basically ready for bales... which are coming this week!

I spent most of the day putting this recycled foam board around the edges of the house for the bales to sit on.

Kenny spent the afternoon mowing our yard... first time this year! It was almost 1/2 the height of the corn field!
The plan is to start putting the bale walls up on Tuesday. Lots more pictures to come.
